Moved a commercial refrigerator? Wait before plugging it in
When a refrigerator is tilted or laid down, compressor oil can move into the refrigerant piping. Starting immediately may reduce lubrication or create liquid and oil return problems.

Safe checks
Keep the unit upright, inspect for pipe or cabinet damage and ask the transporter how it was positioned.
Stop the equipment
Do not energize equipment with damaged wiring, crushed piping, oil stains or refrigerant odor concerns.

Why waiting matters
Oil movement
